There are so many possibilities to create unique items when designing with clay. You can use solid clay colors or mix them up for different color combinations. I like to add tiny pieces of other colors to solid colors to create shapes within a shape. I love to use templates to add prints and texture to solid clay pieces. Even a mistake can become a lovely piece when working with clay. If the shape does not come out right, just roll the clay up in a ball and start over again.
